When I was planning my own dream wedding, I did what most brides do — I turned to Instagram! But behind all of those beautifully-curated feeds, I quickly realized there was so much more that goes into choosing partners for one of the most important days of your life.
The vendors we ended up working with were easy to find, had a stellar client experience, stood out beyond the feed, and reflected the story we wanted to tell on our wedding day.
My strategy-driven brain— together with my MBA and 5+ years of experience in the corporate marketing world — told me I had to dig deeper. I soon found that SO many talented, overworked wedding professionals were spending more time stressing over their marketing than doing the work they truly loved.
As a fellow lover of love, I knew I’d found my people... and that I had to help change the tide. And so, Schift and Co. was born.

From scrambling to find wedding businesses in my area to struggling to differentiate between vendors and their individual brand of magic, I felt my options were far more limited than I’d imagined.
I remember thinking to myself, “Surely there are more options out there… I just can’t seem to find them.”
The truth is, the wedding industry has a marketing problem.
Not only are talented wedding professionals often overworked, having to wear so many hats that they rarely have time to market their business at all... but there’s also limited information out there on how to effectively and purposefully market wedding services.
I saw a deep need within the wedding industry and knew I had to help.
I knew I’d found my people
With an MBA and 5+ years of corporate marketing experience under my belt, my brain was already spinning with ideas. And, as a fellow lover of love, I knew that the wedding industry is where I needed to direct my attention.
I wanted to help talented, overworked wedding professionals spend less time stressing over their marketing and get back to doing the work they truly love. And so, Schift & Co. was born.
